Shelby comes from a background in hospitality and retail management. Before her role with Chartwell, she spent several years working as Executive Team Leader in Human Resources at a major retailer. Her time spent in those roles has given her a deep understanding of both employee and employer needs and a passion for helping people that goes unmatched. Shelby understands that the success of a company comes down to the culture of the staff. A happy team is a productive team! She believes in managing her daily efforts with integrity, honesty and a sense of humor.
Shelby was born and raised in California. Of her three siblings, two are also in HR! In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors with her friends and family, listening to music, and watching documentaries, especially Planet Earth.
